Through our range of classes, you’ll learn how to move in ways that support your health, use simple breath techniques, and feel supported to tailor your practice to match your needs day-to-day.

My name is Melissa, I’m a mum who loves exploring nature through hiking and trail running, and like you I want my yoga practice to be both a support to a full life and something I feel is truly my own. 

 

I believe your journey with yoga should be interesting, exploratory and help you to learn more about yourself with every class.

Maybe you’re here because you’ve tried other types of yoga where you've copied shapes and ways of moving, and it wasn’t really your thing.  

 

Or you’ve always done sports and are not sure how yoga can help you ease ongoing niggles or general wear on the body.

In Yoga Sound Online we have the following classes:

โ€‹

YIN: slow and low to the ground, with long holds in poses to allow time to turn inwards and unwind. 

 

YIN / YANG: exploring movement and stillness to help prana flow. 

 

SLOW VINYASA: finding strength and stability, guided by the breath.   โ€‹

 

BREATH: pranayama/breathing techniques with little-to-no movement involved.

 

Each of these classes complement the other. You can practice one or all three depending on your intention and how you feel. 

 

If you're someone who works at a desk during the day and you want to move your body when work is done - our flow classes are perfect. 

 

If you’re physically active and want to balance your nervous system and facilitate recovery then the yin yoga and breath classes can help you with this.

โ€‹We flow through a 5-week cycle.

The first 4 weeks fit the regular weekly schedule, and the 5th week is an 'intensive' where we work towards exploring the cycle's theme in more detail. Week 5 also includes an interactive class where we'll explore something new together.

Wednesday Yin/Yang 9:30am

Thursday Breath 6pm

Friday Slow Vinyasa 9:30am

Interactive class: Wednesday 9:30am

(Note: the Week 5 class times will vary depending on the intention of the intensive - sometimes the classes will be in the mornings, others at lunch time or in the evenings. You'll always have access to the video recordings as part of your membership.)
